Minced meat pie

A sliced minced meat pie.

Recipe (for 8 people)

For the minced meat dough

  • 1.5 kg mixed minced meat
  • 4 finely diced onions
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt, pepper, sweet paprika, basil
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 2 garlic cloves

For the vegetable topping

  • 2 onions
  • 1 kg red and yellow peppers
  • 600 g sliced beef tomatoes
  • 500 g sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tin of corn
  • 250 g gypsy sauce
  • 150 g tomato ketchup
  • 1 cup of crème fraîche
  • 200 g grated Gouda cheese

Preparation

  1. Make a smooth mince dough from the ingredients listed, press it evenly into the fat pan of the oven and bake at 225° for about 20 minutes.
  2. Remove from the oven and top with the tomato and mushroom slices.
  3. Mix the remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour on top.
  4. Then bake for approx. 1 hour at 200° and sprinkle with the Gouda five minutes before the end of the cooking time.
