Verlauf

Along the romantic Baybach stream, over the heights of the Burgener Wald forest with a wide view of the villages of the Hunsrück and back to Burgen with breathtaking views of the Moselle valley and Bischofstein Castle, the local community of Burgen has built the themed trail "Forellenweg Burgen - Wasser - Boden - Luft". Although most of the paths are easy to walk on, sturdy footwear is recommended. This applies in particular to the narrow path along the Baybach stream.
