Do you fancy a stately castle or an impressive ruin? Bürresheim Castle in the Nettetal valley has a rich and varied history and is happy to share it with you. The ruins of Virneburg Castle are located above the village of Virneburg on a rocky plateau and await you.

The ruins of the Löwensburg and Philippsburg castles nestle on the mountain slopes high above the picturesque half-timbered idyll of Monreal. Enjoy the magnificent view of the romantic Elz Valley from there.
