New annual program of chefs and winegrowers on the Terrassenmosel

The Terrassenmosel is a unique river landscape with steep vineyards and rare flora and fauna. A delightful, sometimes arduous living and working environment for winegrowers and chefs, who are among the best along the lower course of the Moselle. Over 30 years ago, chefs and winegrowers on the Terrassenmosel joined forces as ambassadors of good enjoyment and committed themselves to preserving this cultural area and its quality of life. Since then, they have been promoting the charm and beauty of this vibrant region year after year with an extraordinary series of events. It’s all about “Creative Enjoyment” whenever the chefs and winegrowers of the initiative set their tables invitingly and provide their multifaceted wines. They have once again put together a varied program for 2025.
“As part of a winemaking family, I know the importance of tradition and innovation. The chefs and winegrowers of the Terrassenmosel combine both masterfully and create a platform for creative enjoyment with their 2025 annual program. This commitment not only enriches our cultural landscape, but also invites you to experience the uniqueness of wine and cuisine in one of the most beautiful regions in Germany,” says District Administrator Marko Boos.

First District Councillor Hans-Joachim Monz is taking part on behalf of the district of Cochem-Zell. He knows: “Our unique cultural landscape is home to great vantage points, steep vineyards and cultural and culinary highlights.” For him, one thing is certain: “The select and varied program is sure to hit the culinary bull’s eye again this year, because there is definitely something to suit every taste.”

Lots of advance praise for the active members of the working group, which celebrated its 30th anniversary last year. Since 1994, the chefs and winegrowers of the Terrassenmosel have been taking friends of the region on this journey of discovery and enjoyment at numerous events. The terroir, the flora and fauna, the people and their culture make the region a flagship, and the chefs and winegrowers, as ambassadors of good enjoyment, proudly and confidently present their excellent steep-slope wines and culinary and cultural treasures. Because it is never just about the wine alone. It is accompanied by experiences in nature on various hikes, expressive art or exhilarating music in all its many facets.

The event brochure “Creative Enjoyment 2025” is available via our brochure order page as well as from the tourist information offices and all member businesses. Vouchers can also be purchased from the chefs and winegrowers. The program is available for download at www.koeche-und-winzer.de.
